Shiatsu/ Acupressure

This style of massage is traditionally performed over a mattress, on the floor or on the table. Traditionally, the clients remain fully clothed or wear a light t-shirt & shorts. Acupressure and Shiatsu involve using various hand pressure techniques on energy pathways on the body called meridians to release blockage. Massage can take the form of light, gentle touch or go to deep muscular work. As the physical body relaxes, your body and mind reconnect. This allows you the opportunity to explore your life with a greater sense of wellbeing.

Deep Tissue Massage

This therapy involves slow, deep strokes using the fingers, hands, forearms or elbow on areas of the body suffering from chronic muscle tension. It also relieves areas that simply ache or feel tight. And deep tissue massage is especially effective with tense areas such as the neck, shoulders or upper back.

Swedish Massage

The most common massage method utilizing the 5 basic strokes- slow and gentle or vigorous and firm movements. This promotes relaxation, circulation and releases muscle tension.

Lymphatic Drainage

The lymph system is the foundation of the body’s immune system. When an individual is healthy, lymph fluid flows smoothly. However, the lymphatic system can get blocked or slowed down due to inactivity, injury or illness.

Revitalizing the lymphatic flow is done by using a very light, rhythmic touch. This stimulates the draining of old, toxic lymph fluids. Touch, which simulates ocean waves moving into the center of the body and specifically, the colon.

After the old lymph fluid reaches the colon area, the abdominal area are massaged and softened to better receive the incoming lymph and to facilitate elimination via the colon. New and healthy lymph fluids replace the old so you can feel light and clear!

This can be done before, during of after cold symptoms, to alleviate post-surgical symptoms or scars, especially helpful to reduce swelling from liposuction and breast reduction/ augmentation.

For optimal results, we recommend a series of at least 3 sessions.

Reflexology: NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Applying pressure to the feet with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques without the use of or very little oil or lotion. The pressure received in the feet send signals that balances the nervous system or release endorphins that reduce stress and pain, improves circulation and helps promote the natural function of the feet-body related zones of the body.
