Acupuncture Detox Treatments
Acudetox assists the client in being relaxed and enabling them to experience a sense of “letting go”. It fosters a release of tensions and apprehensions. The Acudetox treatment supports the recovery process by strengthening internal resolve and comfort through alleviating anxiety.
Acudetox significantly decreases cravings for alcohol and drugs, decreases withdrawal symptoms, anxiety, insomnia and agitation. It is effective regardless of the client’s level of motivation, and in fact, tends to increase the client’s readiness and willingness to participate in treatment.
Acudetox involves the gentle placement of 5 small, sterilized, disposable stainless steel needles in specific sites on each ear of client receiving treatment. It is recommended that treatments be received daily in the beginning stages, then tapering off in the later stages.
These treatment protocols are safe for pregnant women and children.
An essential aspect of Oriental Medicine in healing an individual is the use of Chinese herbs. Each herb has specific functions and is rarely used alone. All herbs are natural; they come from plants, flowers, minerals and some animal products. They are safe to use with rarely any side effects. The herbal formulas tend to be designed to the individual needs of each client and can be cooked as a tea, taken in their natural raw state, in pill or powder form.

This style of massage is traditionally performed over a mattress, on the floor or on the table. Traditionally, the clients remain fully clothed or wear a light t-shirt & shorts. Acupressure and Shiatsu involve using various hand pressure techniques on energy pathways on the body called meridians to release blockage. Massage can take the form of light, gentle touch or go to deep muscular work. As the physical body relaxes, your body and mind reconnect. This allows you the opportunity to explore your life with a greater sense of wellbeing.

The lymph system is the foundation of the body’s immune system. When an individual is healthy, lymph fluid flows smoothly. However, the lymphatic system can get blocked or slowed down due to inactivity, injury or illness.
Revitalizing the lymphatic flow is done by using a very light, rhythmic touch. This stimulates the draining of old, toxic lymph fluids. Touch, which simulates ocean waves moving into the center of the body and specifically, the colon.
After the old lymph fluid reaches the colon area, the abdominal area are ‘massaged’ and softened to better receive the incoming lymph and to facilitate elimination via the colon. New and healthy lymph fluids replace the old so you can feel light and clear!
This can be done before, during of after cold symptoms, to alleviate post-surgical symptoms or scars, especially helpful to reduce swelling from liposuction and breast reduction/ augmentation.
For optimal results, we recommend a series of at least 3 sessions.

Applying pressure to the feet with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques without the use of or very little oil or lotion. The pressure received in the feet send signals that ‘balance’ the nervous system or release endorphins that reduce stress and pain, improves circulation and helps promote the natural function of the feet-body related zones of the body.
